On 11 June 2025, the French Competition Authority (the “FCA”) adopted Decision No. 25-D-03, imposing fines totalling 29.5 million EUR on several companies active in engineering, technology consulting, and IT services for entering into no-poaching agreements restricting the recruitment of each other’s employees.

On July 3, 2025, the Paris Court of Appeal (RG n° 21-21673) upheld decision n° 21-D-25 of the French Competition Authority, which sanctioned Tereos Océan Indien (TOI) for abuse of a dominant position on the market for molasses produced on Réunion and sold to local distilleries.

In its decision no. 23-D-14 of 20 December 2023, the French Competition Authority fined Sony (four group companies, including the Japanese parent company) 13.5 million EUR for abusing its dominant position in the market for the supply of PS4 controllers (from November 2015 to April 2020).

In its decision no. 23-D-12 of 11 December 2023, the French Competition Authority fined the Mariage Frères group 4 million EUR for two anticompetitive practices in the luxury tea sector.

In its decision no. 24-D-02 of 6 February 2024, the French Competition Authority jointly and severally fined the chocolate maker De Neuville and its parent company (the holding company Savencia) 4 million EUR for engaging in two restrictive practices.
